Marsha Schnirring

  

As Associate Vice-President for Scholarship Technology at Occidental College, Schnirring is responsible for ensuring the appropriate mix of information resources, technologies, and services to support faculty and students in achieving their teaching, learning, and research goals. Previously, she held positions at Oxy as Director, Center for Digital Learning & Research ('09-'10) and Instructional Services Librarian ('06-'09).

A graduate of the 2009 Frye Leadership Institute and the 2007 ACRL Information Literacy Immersion Program, Schnirring received her MLIS in 2005 from San Jose State University. She is a past ELI Advisory Board member (2009-2012) and is Past Chair of CARL SCIL.

Prior professional work includes over eleven years in IT technical support and end-user training in the corporate sector.
