Venue

THATCamp SoCal is being held in the Titan Student Union (TSU), located on the western edge of campus, off of State College Boulevard and Student Union Way/Dorothy Lane. You can view and print a campus map (.pdf) here.

We will be set up in the northwest corner of the TSU, directly across from the State College Parking Structure.

Parking on Campus

Parking is identified in purple on the campus map. There is plenty of parking on campus on Fridays and Saturdays. You will need to purchase a visitor (daily) parking permit for the Friday of THATCamp (parking is free on Saturdays).

The closest visitor parking to our TSU venue is located in the State College Parking Structure (SCPS on the map), which is located off of State College Boulevard and Gymnasium Drive.

  • When and where to purchase: Daily permits may be purchased from permit machines located the State College Parking Structure. Daily permits are valid in student lots and parking structures, unless restricted.
  • Display of permit: The permit must be displayed on the interior front dash with the date side up. The date and number must be visible to be valid.
  • Fees: The cost of a daily permit is $8.00. Permit machines accept Discover, MasterCard, Visa and $1 & $5 bills only.
  • Expiration: Daily permits are valid on the day purchased for that day only.

If you are staying at the Marriott, you will want to remain parked there and walk to the TSU. You might want to do the same from other nearby hotels, depending on the distance.
