Chris Jepsen
- Title / Position: Assistant Archivist
- Organization: Orange County Archives
- Website: www.ocarchives.com
I will be wearing my Orange County Archives "hat" at THATCamp. In that capacity, I help find, preserve, and make accessible materials relating to the history of Orange County, and help members of the public use those materials to discover the stories of their homes, families, or communities. Outside my day job, I am also a local historian and president of the Orange County Historical Society. I also have a blog, the O.C. History Roundup (http://ochistorical.blogspot.com) and I write the "O.C. Answer Man" column for Orange Coast Magazine. (You should be sensing a theme by now.) In addition to local history, I have warm spots in my heart for Googie and tiki architecture, Mexican food, photography, Friends of the Library sales, dogs, the "California School" watercolor artists, and our state's back country and Central Coast.
