Julia Bloch is an Assistant Professor of Literature at the Bard College MAT Program in Delano, California. Her current book project, “Lyric after Epic: Gender and the Postwar Long Poem,” examines how late modernist and contemporary poetry experiments with sound. She also serves as coeditor of the online, open-access poetics journal Jacket2 (http://jacket2.org/).
