I have a PhD in Assyriology from UCLA, with a BA and MA in Classics. My experience in technology/Digital Humanities comes via my association with UCLA's Center for Digital Humanities, where I was first exposed to the field, and where I have since become a full-time staff member. My research interests include improving Humanities pedagogy, understanding the shape and role of the Humanities in the 21st century, the nature of authorship in ancient Mesopotamia, the history of the ghost story, and the possible relationships between maps and narratives.
